Since 2004, James ran Builders Installation Group in Kansas City. The company specializes in installing high quality factory cabinets.

Early on, he spent a lot of time focused on making as much money as he could. After going through some hard times in 2007, he realized that there could be more to business than just making a lot of money. This is when he started Blue Collar Coaching, a coaching business for Blue Collar Workers.

Simply put, James started this business because he believed he can help a lot of people.

    I like your thinking on that...you could have a cool bootstrap podcast with some boots as your art work :)

    And hey.....being a goofball is a great trait in business! I'm sure you noticed 2 goofballs in the interview w/ James and me :-)

  • The blow collar shirt comment got me to thinking. Maybe a blue collared shirt could be part of James's branding. In that same vein, I am trying to brand myself as the bootstrap coach; maybe I should wear boots as part of my branding. I am a bit of a goof ball and it sounds fun.
